Welcome to iHomebrew

Hello, and welcome from all of us at iHomebrew. 

We are a small family run business whose brewing journey started many years ago when, born out of a love for foraging,  I (Michelle) decided to make some infamous Elderflower Champagne! Several bottle bombs later, and after forcing myself to drink a few of the 30 bottles of tasteless murky fizzy liquid I had created, I didn’t try to brew again for sometime!

Then I met Paul and he bought me an actual cider kit and helped me learn that with a few basic pieces of equipment I could actually brew something nice!

It was at this time, with a lot of questions that I needed answers to, Paul suggested I set up a Facebook group. The only home brew groups at the time were American, and so Home Brew UK was established. It now has over 7,000 members and it is one of my favourite escapes when I just need to scroll and a wonderful resource with brewers new and old. 

Fast forward to now, with many brewing disasters and triumphs under our belt, we have experience, we love home brewing, and we want to help you to love home brewing too. Everyday we learn something new, and we appreciate that home brewing is a journey that is different for everyone.

Whether you brew exclusively using kits or from the raw ingredients, we would be happy to help you on your journey.

We have a small retail outlet in Southport town centre that we have recently acquired and we are very happy to order in any items you require that we do not currently have listed on the website. Please feel free to give us a call anytime, we will be happy to help!
